So yeah, I've been at home wayyy too much the last week or so. I didn't have school on Monday or Tuesday. And then I got sick on Thursday, so I didn't go to school then nor today.
Cabin feverrrrrrrrrrr!!! AHFHUH.
Anyway, when I heard about Heath Ledger on Tuesday, it was incredibly shocking! The amount of deaths is really crazy. I've just been hearing about too many. Like Andrew Peff on Saturday. Just really sad. He was in the grade above me, went to my school. His funeral was yesterday. :( And I really was a big fan of the Heath. I've loved him since 10 Things I Hate About You. And y'know Brokeback Mountain was amazing too. And I was realllly excited to see him in The Dark Knight. Now it's just going to be sad.
I'm such a downer. Man.
Tomorrow my parents return from India! Thank GOD, is all I can say. It's way too stressing having to take care of yourself and your sister annnd your cat and go to school, come home and do homework(craploads may i add), make sure lunch is prepared for tomorrow, make sure we eat dinner and crazy shit like that. Just too much for me to handle at that point.
But weekend, parents, hooray! Who'd have thought I want my parents home! I think it would have been better if I wasn't behind in school already and/or didn't have school. Like Saturday through Tuesday was really nice.
Which reminds me, Went to see Kimya Dawson on Saturday. So fucking fun! Oh mmmmmman. Lexie gave her a present. And Kimya walked between us on the way up to the stage. It was really funny. I was like "Wow, Kimya is making such a good example, five minutes late to her own concert." And then she's behind us and says "Excuse me." I WAS BEING SARCASTIC KIMYA!!!
And then Emily's car got towed. Really hilarious. I wasn't there when she parked (I came on bus), but she parked in a bus zone. But she's not stupid, I swear. Five other people tried to park in the same spot while we were calling Emily's mom and the police.
Oh by the way, my first experience talking to the police was hilarious (Emily was freaking out, so she made me call). I was trying to tell the lady where we were located. I was like "38th Parallel Place"
Lady- "Parallel?"
Me- "Yeah, parallel, like..." ( I totally blanked at the definition of paralell. All I could think of were parallelograms.)
Lady- "Like two lines that don't intersect?"
Me- "YES EXACTLY!!!!"
Then the lady and I laughed about it. Good times.
Anyway, then we figured out where the the car was towed, 'cause the metermaid came. And we blew off the cops because they hadn't come, and it had been 10 minutes. And we got into a cab, I made him type in "Weccacoe" on his GPS, and then we ran out 'cause Emily's mom told us to get off the cab. Turns out Emily's dad was coming.
Then Lexie and I spent like an hour at the towplace eating candy and tastycakes, while Emily had to walk around in the cold to get her car. It's not our fault, the parking people wouldn't let us go in. Anyway, got the car. On the way home, Lexie and I decided there needs to be a reality show about people's cars being towed (which they already have actually, on A&E) where the parking guys tell people "YOU GOT TOOOOWED!" Because seriously it's scary as shit, since they don't leave any indication that the car was towed (we thought at first the car was stolen, but then we were like "There was BMW next to it!").
I love the show My So-Called Life by the way. I'm thinking of just stealing Emily's DVDs because I can't stand watching teh one episode abc.com puts up on Fridays. I want to see every episode, like, right now.
p.s. I'm extremely hyper right now. Cabin fever, remember?
p.p.s. Some progress with the art. Take a look! Can't wait for the concert on May 12th.
My update.
So I'm back in school. And I shouldn't be starting this sentence with a "so" according to Mrs. Irving. Whatever. School is booey. I mean, some things have been good, like making up songs about "ugly shoes" with Jenny. So very enjoyable. Math class is also the most boring thing. Katherine and I are constantly chatting and doodling. I cannot stand school anymore. I dunno why. I guess 'cause I'm in college now I suppose?
Besides all that fun stuff, on Friday I saw Juno again, as I mentioned last entry. It was even better, I must say. I really had a tough time trying not to sing along with all the songs though. Big problem. Emily told me to shut up, like, seven times. Hahaha. We both teared up again at that part in the end. :) After the movies though, we were walking to our cars (Hannah, Jenny, Tessa, Emily and I) and we noticed Todd's car. So we're like, "OMG, Todd's car!! We should leave him a note or something." And then Jenny mentioned lipstick and writing on his car with it. So we did. Only we didn't have lipstick, we had chapstick. Tessa wrote "Dear Todd, Hey Sexy!!!" and then I drew lips on it and a heart. Good fun. My finger smelled like strawberry the rest of the night though, 'cause I was smudging the chapstick around. Todd's the type of guy who would be completely flabbergasted by something like that. I guess we'll find out how he reacted tomorrow.
Oh, and we took down our Chrismas tree yesterday. It was very non-issue this year. Normally I'm like "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO." But I actually was like "When are we taking it down?" this year. I'm losing my innocence! OH NOSE! Haha, no, I think it was because this Christmas felt so unlike Christmas to me. I didn't actually UNWRAP any presents. I suppose that's why.
Also, I mentioned earlier that I started an art project. Like three weeks ago I think actually. But I totally hated how it was coming out, so I restarted it, like completely from scratch, today. I think it looks pretty good thus far. Need to add way more highlights of course, and a ton of other stuff. But it's pretty good for one hour of work. i can't wait to start on Sara later. So give me tips. It's much appreciated.
Meme.
Real update later.
Stole this meme from
MERRY CHRISTMAS F-LIST!
Today was more or less a relaxing day, 'cause our heater isn't really working. So I spent the entire day in bed, wrapped up in blankets. I did watch my Order of the Phoenix DVD with the Pottercast Commentary. It was really fun actually.
And, I worked on the art I started back on Saturday or whatever. It's a digital art portrait of Tegan and Sara. It's coming along pretty well. Hooray!
So besides this, Sunday I saw Juno. Juno is perhaps the cutest, funniest, best movie I've seen this year. Ah everything was so good in the movie, from Ellen Page and Michael Cera to the awesome soundtrack to the hilarious script. Diablo whatever-her-last-name-is gets MAJOR props for writing such a brilliant script. Every joke was hilarious. The whole audience was cracking up. Not a single boring or flat part. And yeah, everyone's acting was so amazing. I loved Jennifer Garner's subtle humor. And Ellen Paaaaage. Oh my, I loved her.
And I was almost at tears at one part, because it was so sad and touching... Emily and Lexie were ACTUALLY crying. But everything was so realistic and touching without getting too somber.
You know, I think it would have been cool to see Michael Cera and Jason Bateman in the same scene, just 'cause I did love Arrested Development so much. But it wouldn't have really made ANY sense with the story.
But some fun facts/favorite moments:
Sean from Degrassi was in it!! The Jock who's crushing on Juno (Ellen Page's character)!!! Daniel Clark's kinda a hottie.
Juno likes the same kind of guitars as me!
The chair. "He was so good... in chair."
The Burger Phone! How I want one.
I love how Dwight was in there for a total of three minutes.
"Can't we just like kick this old school. You know, like I stick the baby in a basket, send it your way, like Moses and the reeds?"
Kimya Dawson is soooooooo amazing. "Loose Lips" is definitely one of my favorite songs on that soundtrack.
"He is the cheese to my macaroni."
The Moldy Peaches are pretty much amazing: "The monkey on your back is the latest trend."
Now I have to go find myself some Juno icons. Go see Juno.

So, I had to draw a cartoon for the mirror.
It was great, because it's exactly how I feel, aaaaaaaaaaalll the time.
Stupid college application process.
Yeah, we go by trimester system at my school...
Um, besides that, got an electric guitar.
It's pretty.
Picture later?
Oh, I'm ttttooootally obsessed with the new The New Pornographers CD, Challengers.. Wow that's a mouthful. Favorite song: Myriad Harbour.
Oh my GOD!
How awesome was Heroes today!?!?!?!
IT WAS SO FUCKING AMAZING!
And the PREVIEW!!!!!!
aihjfiahgasihf!IHRIAH
p.s. Elle is so my favorite. But I think I'm biased 'cause it's Kristen Bell.
I can't wait till I get into college.
Then I'll have so much free time.
Like siriusly.
Oh well.
Lif'e's been good. Friday was my friends birthday. Ryan came back from college it was wonderful. I missed him so.
And I dunno. COLLEGE.
Ah, sorry.
Pushing Daisies is the best show, all must watch.
